For every one else, make sure that your clothes are well fitting and comfortable. Only the most vain of men would be happy suffering for the sake of fashion. When buying clothes pay attention to the fit across the shoulders, chest, thighs and waistline. With a correct fit in these areas, the length of sleeves or legs can easily be altered if necessary.

Higher quality garments typically present better, last longer and can save you money in the long run. Clobber that has been locally produced from Australian materials will be free from the ethical issues that are associated with some offshore productions, avoiding things like slave labour in Xinjiang. By supporting local you will often pay a little more but can rest easy knowing that you are doing your bit for home and country while making the world a better place.

More bang for your buck

A man can only gauge the quality of apparel if they first know what to look for. So what are some things to keep an eye on? Firstly, seek out natural fibres over synthetics. Then, just as you would weigh apples at the grocery store, check the materials grams per square metre (gsm) and or the thread count. Heavier or more tightly woven fabrics generally offer better comfort and longer wear and tear over time. Look for close and regular stitching without any loose threads.
